NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. - The Indiana University Kokomo women's tennis team saw its historic season come to an end on Saturday at the River States Conference Championships at Top Seed Tennis Club. THe Cougars set the program record for wins, posting a 14-10 overall record on the season. IU Kokomo saw three players named to RSC All-Conference teams, a program best. 

The Cougars earned the third seed in the Championship by posting a 5-2 record in conference play. In their opening round matchup, IU Kokomo battled the No. 6 seed IU Southeast Grenadiers and made quick work of them, winning 4-0 to advance to the semifinals. This was the second time this season IU Kokomo shutout the Grenadiers. 

With a chance to play in the RSC Finals on the line, the Cougars came up short against No. 2 seed Oakland City. The MIghty Oaks defeated the Cougars, 4-1 to earn their spot in Saturday's finals.
