GREENTOWN, Ind. – The Indiana University Kokomo tennis team picked up a shutout victory over Indiana University Southeast at the Howard County Indoor Tennis Center. The Cougars move to 12-8 overall on the season and 4-1 in River States Conference play.
The win marks the programs first-ever victory over IU Southeast and a new program wins record.
The Cougars were dominant in all six matches played. Due to an insufficient number of players for the Grenadiers, just four singles and two doubles matches were played. Matches at the singles five and six lines were forfeited by IU as well as No. 3 doubles.
IU Kokomo will have a week off before returning to the court. The Cougar will take on IU East in Richmond, next Friday, Aprul 8
th.
