MIDWAY, Ky. – The Indiana University Kokomo tennis squad picked up its second River States Conference victory on Friday as the Cougars cruised past Midway, 6-1. The win is the largest margin of victory over the Eagles in program history.
"I'm so proud of them for their team centered play and attitude, and very happy for them that they were able to pull off the win," said head coach
Kristine Miller.
IU Kokomo swept all three doubles points against the Eagles to take the early 1-0 lead in the match.
The Cougars went on to take five of the six singles match against tough Midway opponents, giving them the 6-1 victory to move to 2-0 in RSC action on the season.
