GREENTOWN, Ind. – The Indiana University Kokomo women's tennis team swept River States Conference foe Carlow University 7-0 Sunday morning at the Howard County Indoor Tennis Center.
IU Kokomo dropped just two games between the three doubles matches to sweep doubles action with Carlow. The No. 2 doubles duo for the Cougars of
Reiley Hiser and
Andrea Saylor as well as the No. 3 doubles team of
Kelsey Rhoades and
Larissa O'Rourke bageled the Celtics, both winning 6-0. The No. 1 doubles pair of
Gabbie Orlando and
Reese Johnson won 6-2 to complete the sweep.
The Cougars were able to continue their dominance in singles action as the Celtics managed to win just seven total games out of the six singles matches.
IU Kokomo will return to the court Saturday, February 26 as they take on Cedarville University at Indy Racquet Club. First serve is set for 12:00 p.m.
