KOKOMO, Ind. - The IU Kokomo volleyball team is set to play in the River States Conference Championship in Pittsburgh this weekend, as they compete for a bid to the NAIA National Tournament. The Cougars earned the #2 seed with a conference record of 16-2.

IU Kokomo enters the 2022 RSC Championship in Pittsburgh as the #2 seed behind host Point Park. IUK has made the trek to Pittsburgh once already this year, losing to Point Park in five sets. The Cougars finished the regular season with an overall record of 26-5 and a 16-2 mark in conference play.

The Grenadiers of IU Southeast come into the RSC Championship with an overall record of 12-15 and an 8-10 record in conference action. The Cougars and Grenadiers met twice this season, with the Cougars coming out victorious in three-sets in both matches.

IU Kokomo leads the all-time series with IU Southeast 18-3.

The winner of Friday's quarterfinal match between IU Kokomo and IU Southeast will play the winner of IU East vs Rio Grande in Saturday's second semifinal match at 12:30 P.M.
