MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Indiana University Kokomo junior thrower Gabe Wedmore has been named River States Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Gabe, a Madison-Grant High School product, continued his strong indoor season Saturday at the Fairgrounds Invitationa. There he won Shot Put with another "B" standard toss of 15.88 meters, while finishing fourth In Weight Throw with a mark of 16.31 meters.

The Fairgrounds Invitational featured a strong field, including multiple high-level competitors. Wedmore is currently first in the RSC in Weight Throw and second in Shot Put.
